The cross, only the cross and nothing but the cross. Ladies and gentlemen, any person who injects them-self between Jesus and God the Father is saying Jesus, God's Son, is not enough. Any person with great charisma that says, "Follow me" is placing them-self between Jesus and the Father in Heaven. You must worship with others. (Heb 10:25) God gave us preachers and teachers to learn from (Eph 4:11-12). It is not about being alone in your salvation. It is about working it out in fear of the Lord (Phil 2:12).

The cross, only the cross and nothing but the cross. Ladies and gentlemen, any person who injects them-self between Jesus and God the Father is saying Jesus, God’s Son, is not enough (1 Jn 5:12). (Heb 10:25) God gave us preachers and teachers to learn from (Eph 4:11-12). It is not about being alone in your salvation. It is about working it out in fear of the Lord (Phil 2:12).

Ladies and Gentlemen, may I place you in remembrance of some things? God loves you! Romans 5:8 tells us that while we were still evil, while we were purposefully separated from Him, while we were yet sinners He sent His Son to die for us.

But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

There is nothing you have done that Christ has not atoned for. Your responsibility? You have to accept Him and permit Him to change your life. You have to let Him share your life. You have to trust Him. You have to open your heart to Him and permit him to change you for His glory.

God cares for your soul. He died for your soul. Your soul is what He died for. Your soul is where He resides when you accept Him. Your  soul will reside in Heaven with Him until the resurrection. It is about your soul, your heart’s change that evinces that saved soul.

Further, Romans 8:34 tells us that not only did Jesus die, Jesus arose again. Not only did Jesus raise again, he is at God’s right hand. Not only does Jesus sit at God’s right hand, He talks to God about us, speaks to the Father for us. Jesus is our defense, our advocate. He intercedes on our behalf.

Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.

Ladies and Gentlemen, there is must deception in our world today that all religions are alike, or that even all Christian faiths are the same. Neither statement is true. First, only in Christianity does God sacrifice himself to atone for your own sins. Second, Christ did it all. No ritual, no confession to a priest, no personal sacrifice, nothing is enough. Only Christ is enough. If a person thinks they’re a good person, God could care less if you have not accepted His Son. Nothing you do makes a bit of difference unless you believe Jesus is God and believe in His salvation for you. It is Jesus or nothing, and nothing but Jesus.
