The scriptures I hope.Too often we replace what we should trust when we read the scriptures and find we must stand apart from society, be those idealists, stand against the tides of mankind. We replace what we read in our Bible with things that seem to just make sense with the changes man makes in life. Sometimes we don’t even realize we’re going with sin’s flow. Today, among other things we have a fight over the godlessness in sodomy and fornication and the godliness of heterosexual marriage.

In recent months more  “religious leaders” tell us the scriptures testify only of age old things, societal requirements that are no longer applicable for our modern day. They tell us that the Levitical truths no-longer apply; the Bible of our faith is no longer relevant. They claim this is true in the time of Christ, that even a millennia between the writing of Leviticus and Romans was not enough time for God to correct His error.

They speak as fools (Proverbs 10:8, 10). They are false teachers (2 Peter 2:1). Following such folly leads only to damnation. Those claiming scriptural irrelevance do not believe, have no faith, want only to please man and are not holy unto God. Never mind the scientific evidence that clearly indicates health and social challenges that develop from same sex couplings and relationships. Never mind the many studies that testify of the tremendous advantages of normal heterosexual marriage for children. Never mind that man has proven God is right.

The fact is that Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever (Hebrews 13:8). Jesus and His Father are the same (John 10:30). They both believe that homosexuality and lesbianism are just as detestable today as they were in Sodom and Gomorra. Whether 100, 1,000 or 5,000 years it is still sinful wickedness.

This has nothing to do with politics. It has to do with holiness and righteousness. Those who practice and openly condone these things are practicing and condoning sin. “For the wrath of God is revealed from Heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness…women did change the natural use unto that which is against nature…men leaving the natural use of the woman burned in their lust one toward another, men with men…” (Romans 1:18a,26b,27b)

If you practice this wickedness, we love you, God loves you, Jesus loves you and gave himself for you. We do not hate you, we do speak plainly about your sinful activity though. The world is deceiving you, those who say God does not care are lying to you.  Run to Jesus; flee this lust. He will save you (Romans 10:13).
