Jesus is the perfect judge because "He knew no sin."

Jesus is the perfect judge because he “knew no sin.” (2 Cor 5:21)

An argument against faith and the love of Christ is that God could never be compassionate because He is God. God in Heaven cannot know what we feel. There is no sickness, no pain, no suffering, no death. People therefore presume God has suffered no loss. He cannot understand us because He does not have emotional reactions like we do.

Hebrews 4:15 says that we do not have a high priest unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, Jesus was tempted in all ways as are we, and more. Jesus being God could judge and punish all who hurt people, all the murderers, all idolaters, sexually immoral and wicked. When God saw people, children and whole families destroyed, He could prosecute, judge and punish them. However, Jesus came to save not to judge (John 12:47).

Jesus has greater empathy than man. In order to give himself to save everyone, He had to empty himself of deity. Philippians 2:8 says He humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on the cross. Because Jesus denied himself completely, He does know pain. He does know tumult and turmoil. He does know emotional loss. He has in all ways suffered pain as you and I have. He is 100% human and knows how we feel.

No more perfect judge exists that not only has experienced all we have, but is the only one with the right to judge because He created everything. There is an escape, believing in the Son we receive His righteousness. Romans 4:11 tells us that we are imputed with righteousness through faith. Trust in the Son, the perfect judge or suffer His judgement.
